For ski patrols and mountain rescue

Incident documentationthat goes up the mountain.

ResQdesk guides you through the report from the accident site to the handover – step by step along ABCDE, offline on your phone, saved with every entry. And it prints onto your own form.

The incident

In the order you actually work.

Clear steps instead of a form with hundreds of fields. Every value is saved the moment it is entered – even if the radio goes off halfway through.

  1. Start the incident

One tap on “New incident” and the report number is set – following your own scheme, counting up each year. Times are set with a single tap on “now”.

  2. Accident site in the terrain

Piste, off-piste, lift or elsewhere: ResQdesk knows your slopes and lifts and places the accident site in the 3D terrain – by tap or from the device’s position.

  3. ABCDE primary survey

Airway, breathing, circulation, disabilities, exposure – with GCS, pupils, FAST, pain scale and NACA. “Set to normal” fills a whole section with your patrol’s normal values.

  4. Vital signs with trends

Every reading with its time – as a table and as a curve against the normal range. Plus medication with dose and the physician’s release.

Heart rate as a table and a trend chart
  5. Handover and closing

Handover to ambulance, emergency physician or helicopter, destination hospital, special occurrences. Refusal and cost declarations are signed right in the incident.

  6. Finished report

The report is done when the incident is: print it on your form or save it as a PDF – generated on the device, never routed through a server.

ResQdesk field app

On the phone. Without signal. With gloves on.

The field app runs on any smartphone or tablet and installs straight from the browser – no app store. Without signal you keep documenting; once the connection is back, ResQdesk syncs on its own.

  • Works offline

Incidents created or opened on the device stay fully editable without a connection. Changes are delivered later, in the right order.

  • Encrypted on the device

Everything stored locally is AES-GCM encrypted and removed from the device 24 hours after it was last worked on, once it has synced.

  • Quick entry

Tap the times, take the current position as the accident site, enter blood pressure, pulse and SpO₂ – without opening the incident first.

  • Signing on the phone

Show a QR code – the patient signs the refusal or cost declaration on their own phone. No app, no account, the link is valid for ten minutes.

Insights

See where accidents happen.

The accident map places every documented incident on the 3D terrain of your ski area. Filter by severity, injury, body region and activity – the hotspots are numbered.

Statistics with key figures such as response time, time on scene and NACA share
  • Key figures vs. last year

Incidents, response time, time on scene, handovers, NACA ≥ 4 and resuscitations – each compared with the same period a year earlier.

  • Season report as PDF

The annual report for your board, the lift company or the municipality – one click, created right in the browser.

  • Dig deeper

Injuries, patients, circumstances & place and the course of the operation in their own views, plus cross tables and CSV export.

Setup

Fits your patrol – not the other way around.

Every organization decides what gets documented and how the app phrases it.

A protocol that fits

Show or hide sections and fields, change their order, set normal values, defaults and wording. Data already recorded is never lost.

Your own pick lists

Activities, handover types, hotels and more – with the entries that actually occur at your patrol.

Report numbers

A pattern like {YYYY}-{NNN} is all it takes: every new incident gets the next number, and each year starts over.

Security & privacy

Health data deserves more than a password.

At ResQdesk, data protection isn’t an add-on – it’s part of every feature.

  • Two-factor sign-in

A confirmation code by email. Trusted devices can be remembered for 30 days.

  • Device approval

A new device sees nothing of the organization until an admin has approved it.

  • Need-to-know

Members see the incidents they document themselves. Patrol leaders see them all.

  • Support only when you allow it

We can’t see your incidents – unless you grant time-limited support access, for one incident or all.

  • Complete audit log

Who viewed, changed, printed or exported what – traceable for your leadership.

  • Retention & access requests

Retention periods, anonymization afterwards and GDPR access requests (Art. 15) – built in, not bolted on.

  • Your data stays yours

When the contract ends you get a complete export of every incident of your organization.

  • Signed out when idle

Sessions expire after 20 minutes of inactivity, failed attempts lock the account for a while.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Do we need new hardware?

No. ResQdesk runs in the browser on desktops, laptops, tablets and smartphones. The field app installs straight from the browser – no app store.

What if there’s no signal at the accident site?

You simply keep documenting. The field app stores everything encrypted on the device and uploads it automatically, in the right order, as soon as there is a connection again.

Can we keep using our paper form?

Yes. Upload the blank form as a PDF and decide in the designer where each value goes. From then on, every incident prints straight onto the form you know.

Who can see our incidents?

Only your organization – and within it, on a need-to-know basis. As the provider we cannot see incident data unless you explicitly grant time-limited support access. Every access is logged.

Can the report be adapted to our patrol?

Extensively: sections and fields, their order, normal values, defaults, pick lists, wording, report numbers and whole extensions are yours to set.

Is ResQdesk available in English?

Yes. The whole interface is available in English and German, and everyone chooses their own language.

How much does ResQdesk cost?

That depends on the size of your organization. Request a demo – we’ll show you ResQdesk and send you an offer that fits.

Demo

We’ll show you ResQdesk in a personal demo – online or on site – and, if you like, set up your slopes and your form right away.
